Hi, I’m Mukunda

I’m a Chicago based UX Designer with a background in Data Analysis and Health Information Management. But more interestingly, I’m a musician that lives and breathes a form of traditional Bengali music known as Kirtan (कीर्तन).

Kirtan is a style of music that revolves around the ability to empathize with not only your fellow musicians, but your audience as well. While my background in data analytics helps me approach the UX research process in a methodical and thorough way, my grounding in Kirtan gives me a natural ability to take myself out of the center and put myself in the shoes of another.

My aim as a UX Designer is to take myself out of the equation and make the user the center of focus. I let the user guide me to the goal.
